But I tape off the cut with painters tape and use a fine tooth metal cutting blade to make a smooth cut. More like 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. WebRemove the upper cabs on the sink wall. Create a pony wall the depth of the cabs and maybe 6" higher with a top that matches your crown, if you're using one, if not your counter. Add a 4x4' island with base cupboards. It will slightly block the path to the sink from the fridge. To me it would be worth it.
