Holding down the volume up and power together still not luck. Also tried charging it and it gets warm but still absolutely nothing. I guess it’s a case of going to a Genius Bar and getting a new ... Web3 dec. 2024 · With the randomized serial number that Apple has begun using since iPads, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 (note: other models of the 12 did have the old format, only the lavender color did have the randomized serial number). Those won't work. Heck you could have someone with similar production week but completely random serial number.

WebMight be the same issue for you but a hard reset seems to fix it for a lot of people. Apparently they changed the hard reset method from holding lock button + volume button to press + release volume up, press + release volume down, then hold side/ lock button.
